We have been blessed with everything we could ask for. We have our health, beautiful two kids, a beautiful home over our heads and a community of family and friends who show up for us. We want to help pass on a little bit of this good fortune to those who need it more than us today.
So rather than physical gifts, we ask that you make a donation in our name towards Ekal Foundation where underprivileged children are given the opportunity for education.
To help make an even greater impact, Pratik and I will match up to $2,500 raised.
More information about Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of Canada: Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of Canada is a registered charity / non-profit organization engaged in the education of rural children at the grassroots level in India. Ekal Canada helps run about 102,000 schools with nearly 3 million children enrolled.
The Ekal movement aims to eradicate illiteracy from tribal and rural India and Nepal through basic education, health awareness, skill development and digital literacy. Ekal Canada attained charitable status in Canada in the year 2007.
