A. Mission Statement of the IRTC:
The mission of the IRTC is to transform the humanitarian programming and relief efforts throughout the world through applied research and evidence-based-practice. This would be done through a unique collaborative platform that would connect the academic, non-for-profit, and for-profit sectors.
B. Learning Centers’ Goals:
G#1: Research: To provide field based settings where groundbreaking concepts and theories can be identified, developed, tested, and disseminated by using a multidisciplinary and multisectorial approach.
G#2: Training: To promote and disseminate the best practices identified and tested in the field.
