Friends of village children, we need some fundamental items to ensure that 50 orphans who attend our mission school in Mangunda, Malawi, have shoes, clothes, toothbrushes, soap, and towels.

Right now, it's winter, and they're cold. We need to find them some sweaters or hoodies to keep them warm. We also know they often go to bed hungry and would like some snack food to feed them as they leave school.

A. Mission Statement of the IRTC:

The mission of the IRTC is to transform the humanitarian programming and relief efforts throughout the world through applied research and evidence-based-practice. This would be done through a unique collaborative platform that would connect the academic, non-for-profit, and for-profit sectors.

B. Learning Centers’ Goals:

G#1: Research: To provide field based settings where groundbreaking concepts and theories can be identified, developed, tested, and disseminated by using a multidisciplinary and multisectorial approach.

G#2: Training: To promote and disseminate the best practices identified and tested in the field.
