About Education Africa

Education Africa works to serve the education needs of children and youth in Sub-Saharan Africa. We recognize the huge untapped resources of the African diaspora. We recruit successful people who have left Africa and are dedicated and willing to give back to their home villages, towns, and regions where they grew up. Our returning Africans work with and empower partners in African based non profits with unique knowledge, understanding, and language and cultural awareness to be able to bring about a successful project by guiding it through circumstances few Westerners might even be attuned to. We regularly re-evaluate our programs for effectiveness to assure that our efforts and donors contributions are used wisely and make a real difference in the lives of African children.
