For one week every year, easterseals of Southern California transforms YMCA Camp Oakes into another world. A world where the possibilities are endless, where can'ts turn into cans and disabilities disappear. For 44 years, campers and volunteers from all walks of life come together for one amazing, inspirational and magical week. Campers with a range of abilities are able to experience the same excitement and activities available at other camps.
This year, the volunteers of easterseals camp at YMCA Camp Oakes are committed to raising $45,000 for our 45th year at camp. These funds help us to bring this amazing experience back year after year, aid in lowering costs for our campers and providing the tools and means necessary to run a program of this caliber.
