East Mecklenburg High School Athletic Booster Club

Every swing of the racket, every sprint across the court, and every ounce of determination tells the story of a group of young women who refuse to give up. Our high school tennis team is more than a roster of athletes—it’s a family built on resilience, teamwork, and the dream of competing.

For many of our players, tennis has been a lifeline—teaching confidence, leadership, and the power of persistence. But behind their dedication lies a challenge: limited funding for uniforms, equipment, and expenses. Without support, opportunities to compete, grow, and showcase their hard work become out of reach.

By contributing to this fundraiser, you’re not just helping cover costs—you’re investing in a future where these young women can step onto the court knowing their community stands behind them.

The women’s team really has such a hardship this year. Having no courts, no seating for ladies to sit on, no shade from the intense heat and no storage, it’s been a challenge to transport all our gear to some avaliable courts 15 minutes away. The goal is just for them to play tennis and enjoy the season like everyone else does.

Together, we can ensure their story is one of opportunity, achievement, and pride.

This will help pay for our team clothing, nutritious snacks and drinks, equipment, and other ongoing operating and maintenance expenses. 

Our team is a young team. Every year, a majority of our players just start playing tennis in their high school years. These players develop the love for the game, the competition, the Eagle team spirit and the camaraderie so they stay on the team for the entire 4 years. We want to be able to keep providing this wonderful opportunity to all those who otherwise would have no chance of learning the best sport for their lifetime. These players would go on and keep playing long after they leave East Mecklenburg HS. Some even come back and volunteer to help develop future players for East Meck.
