The Earth Innovation Institute (EII) urgently needs your help. The sudden suspension of U.S. foreign aid has put our essential work in the Peruvian and Colombia Amazon at risk. For 12 years, our expert, on-the-ground teams have supported farmers, indigenous peoples, and local governments to increase food security while keeping Amazon forests, rivers and watersheds healthy. The states, regional governments and departments we support cover 40% of the Amazon forest.
What We Do
For over a decade, EII has worked hand-in-hand with local communities, regional governments, and diverse stakeholders to:
- Empower Indigenous and rural communities with tools for sustainable farming, forestry, and livelihoods.
- Create partnerships to align conservation and development goals.
- Implement solutions that conserve forests while combating poverty.
We focus on strategic interventions that can bring about systemic, lasting change in the way Amazonians grow feed, manage the land, and steward their forests and fisheries.
