The 8-time State Champion Eagle High Softball team needs your help!
The Eagle Mustang Softball Booster Club was created to provide additional financial assistance to the Eagle High Softball program. We are currently fundraising to help Eagle Softball with the 2021 season and beyond!
Due to district budget cuts over the years, the softball program is required to pay for all buses, game balls, umpire fees, uniforms, equipment, field maintenance and various team bonding activities for our athletes. They are also responsible for in-season tournaments and the end of the season state tournament. Travel, food and hotel alone to the state tournament in Coeur d’Alene in 2019 cost over $6,500.
People are constantly asking what they can do help. Last year through school and booster club fundraising we were able to install new backstops with padding to improve the safety of both of our fields. This year fundraising has been a daunting challenge due to the on going pandemic and although we are scaling back on our projects, we still hope to make some improvements. Some of the improvements on our list are replacing the nets on the outdoor hitting cages, installing pitching lanes for visitors and replacing the turf in the indoor hitting facility. (Not so fun fact- the carpet in the hitting facility came from the Grove Hotel Banquet Room and is over 20 years old!)
We appreciate your donation to help provide the best opportunities for our student athletes! All income raised will be directly donated from Eagle Mustang Booster Club to the Eagle High School Softball account.
