The mission of Perkins is to promote meaningful and sustained well-being for children, youth and adults facing educational, developmental, or mental health challenges.

Our 24-hour residential programs for children, adults, and elders remain open, operating with caution and care to protect our residents and staff. They are serving our most vulnerable, people with mental and emotional diagnoses, developmental disabilities, trauma histories, and complex medical issues. These programs, and the staff who passionately and bravely operate them, are essential beyond words.  

Today we are reaching out to ask for emergency help in combating the financial challenges that are resulting from Covid-19. Your donation to Perkins will provide critical supplies to help our residential programs continue to operate safely, while also providing recreation and engagement for the children and adults who live here. 

We need your help as we expect to incur over $500,000 in unexpected Covid-19 expenses between now and June in addition to significantly higher revenue losses from the closure of our community day programs.
