I’m Chanel. An eighth grader. And I want to ask you, personally, “What does justice mean to you?”
In my opinion, it’s to recognize your own willpower, and to realize how one can utilize it to create a fair society. And no, justice doesn’t only include the logical aspect.
As apart of human nature, we naturally wish to remember. It can be as small as a study guide, or it can range to something big, like a wedding. I want you to know that your life is worth recognizing. After all, the probability of having your life is 400 trillion to one.
What if this were all to be gone right now? All the memories you cherished, gone. What could be even worse is the fact that, it’s possible for anyone around you to forget, too.
At least 14,000 persons experienced this same predicament, solely in the United States.
14,000 unidentified bodies. One can treasure their life so much, including these people. But, towards the end, a human with a fishbowl of memories can only be called “Jane”, or, “John doe”.
I want you to know. That you can use your own willpower to help uncover the memories of these people. Then, even finally to them, justice can be served.
