Hello Everyone!  
We are Divine Light World, a non-profit organization based in Queens, NY. Our mission is to help each individual experience inner peace. Drawn from the ancient philosophies, we work to enrich the lives of individuals by providing spiritual and social nourishment through our programs, initiatives, and developmental workshops. Everything we offer is completely free and our only goal is to uplift society through our community focused work. Since we are 100% donor dependent, it is only through your help that we can continue reaching as many people as possible. Help Us Give Back!

What Is Our Goal:

To accommodate the growing number of guests, we need to construct a much larger building/ashram. During major events held at our Queens location throughout the years, our center has simply proven to be too small. Our meditation/yoga classes, which started as small monthly gatherings, have expanded to weekly sessions open to members of the local community and as well as around the city. We also work with government leaders, public safety officials, and NGOs to hold workshops throughout the year. We hope to continues these partnerships and provide even more services for years to come. 

Fundraising Target:

Due to the generosity of our donors we are able to fund most of the purchase, but we still need to raise $250K by August 1st 2019.

Meditation Class every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Yoga Workshop every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM

OUR MISSION:  We are non-profit organization that organizes programs and initiatives for the betterment of society through community engagement, government and other NGO partnerships, and volunteer services. All our programs are FREE of charge which includes community Yoga classes, Meditation classes, vegetarian meals, individual one-on-one consultancy services, work with NY Public Library offering stress and time management classes, music and dance classes, and many more outreach programs such as ThriveNYC Event that we are hosting at our center as part of the City's ThriveNYC initiative, the NYC Health Department offering free Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to all New Yorkers.

All funds will be directed towards supporting FREE programs and initiatives.
