Dear Friends and Humanitarians, 

The COVID-19 pandemic is a serious global health threat. Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopians are raising funds and collecting materials to curb the global epidemic in Ethiopia. 

As we all know, the majority of Ethiopian population live in poverty and need the support of all patriotic and willing community members around the world to deal with the problems associated with the disease and to address the issue of food security.

Therefore, to mitigate the crisis associated with Corona virus, a national COVID-19 Fundraising Committee has been established and is preparing to respond to this epidemic.

We call on Ethiopians, descendants of Ethiopians, as well as Ethiopian friends, volunteers, and humanitarians, to stand by us and cooperate in food security assistance and testing to those affected by the outbreak, directly or indirectly, in connection with the epidemic.

Notice

The funds raised by this Go Fund Me will be transferred 100% to the National Bank Account in Ethiopia. The account is created by the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington, DC, under the auspices of the National Coordinating Task Force led by the Deputy Prime Minister. The support will only be used for food bank and to stop COVID-19 transmission.

Also, please note that you do not have to pay for the additional tip that Go-Fund-mi requires when you donate. The tip will not be credited to the National Bank account. To donate without adding a tip, do the following: Just select 'OTHER' from the 'TIP' line and enter ($0.0) in the TIP box.

በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ አሳሳቢ የሆነውን የኮሮና ቫይረስ ወረርሽኝ በአገራችን ኢትዮጵያ ለመግታት ለሚደረገው ጥረት በዓለም ዓቀፍ ደረጃ ከሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያውያንና ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያውያን የገንዘብና የተለያዩ የቁሳቁስ ድጋፎች በመሰባሰብ ላይ ይገኛል።

ሁላችንም እንደምናውቀው አብዛኛው የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረሰብ ኑሮው ከእጅ ወደ አፍ በመሆኑ ከበሽታው ጋር ተያይዞ የሚመጡ ችግሮችን ለመቋቋም እና የሚያጋጥመውን የምግብ ዋስትና ጥያቄ ለመፍታት ከሁሉም አገር ወዳድና ፈቃደኛ የህብረተሰብ ክፍል ድጋፍ ያስፈልጋል፡፡

ስለሆነም አገራችን ከወረርሽኙ ጋር ተያይዞ ሊገጥማት የሚችለውን ፈተና ለማለፍ በአገር ዓቀፍ ደረጃ የCOVID-19 ብሔራዊ የሀብት አሰባሳቢ ኮሚቴ ተቋቁሞ ለዚህ የከፋ ዓለም ዓቀፍ ወረርሽኝ ምላሽ ለመስጠት ቅድመ ዝግጅት በማድረግ ላይ ይገኛል።

ከወረርሽኙ ጋር በተያያዘ በቀጥታም ሆነ በተዘዋዋሪ በ ኮቪድ-19 ለተጠቁ ወገኖቻችን የምርመራ ወጪና የምግብ ዋስትና ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ እየተካሄደ ላለው ሰብዓዊ ድጋፍ ኢትዮጵያዊያንና ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊያን እንዲሁም የኢትዮጵያ ወዳጆችና ቮለንተርስ ከጎናችን እንድትቆሙና ተባባሪ እንድትሆኑ እንጠይቃለን።

ማሳሰቢያ

በዚህ Go Fund Me የሚሰበሰበው እርዳታ ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ በሚገኘው የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲ በተከፈተው አካውንት በኩል 100% ኢትዮጵያ ወደሚገኘው ብሔራዊ ቋት የሂሳብ አካውንት የሚዛወር ሲሆን በምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር በሚመራው አገራዊ አስተባባሪ ግብረ ሃይል የሚመራ ይሆናል። ድጋፉም የሚውለው የCOVID-19 ስርጭትን ለማስቆም ለሚደረገው ጥረት ብቻና ብቻ ነው።

እርዳታ በሚያደርጉበት ጊዜ ጎ-ፈንድ-ሚ የሚጠይቅዎትን ተጨማሪ ችሮታ (ቲፕ) መክፈል አይኖርብዎትም። ተጨማሪ ችሮታው (ቲፕ) ወደ ብሔራዊ አካውንት ገቢ አይሆንም። ቲፕ ሳይጨምሩ እርዳታዎን ለመስጠት የሚከተለውን ያድርጉ፤ ‘TIP’ ከሚለው መስመር ‘OTHER’ የሚለውን ከመረጡ በኋላ በቲፑ ሳጥን ውስጥ ዜሮ (0.0) ከሞሉ በኋላ የእርዳታውን ገንዘብ በእርዳታው ቦታ ብቻ ይሙሉ።
