Let's finish the shuttle for Colorado's homeless population
Hello, I'm Jennifer Geiselhofer, founder and direct access registered dental hygienist of Deserving Dental, a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
For the past 10 years, our small but mighty all-female dental team—3 dental hygienists and 2 dental assistants—has provided free, on-site dental care to individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, and people in addiction recovery.
Every day, we haul in heavy equipment to create makeshift dental clinics inside homeless shelters and community centers for Colorado's most vulnerable populations.
Now, thanks to the donation of an empty shuttle bus, we have the chance to build a fully-equipped mobile dental hygiene clinic—bringing dignity, relief, and essential care straight to those who need it most.
We have the dental equipment, licenses, and funding to provide care—but we’re still $25,000 short of the $70,000 needed to complete the buildout. These funds will cover critical infrastructure like electricity, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and a generator.
