Des Moines Community Orchestra

Under the baton of Music Director and Conductor, Carl Johnson(http://www.desmoinescommunityorchestra.org/johnson.htm) , the Des Moines Community Orchestra is composed mainly of non-professional musicians whose love of music keeps them coming together to perform the great symphonic works of the masters, as well as new works by living composers. In addition to a love of classical music, the orchestra is deeply committed to making classical music concerts accessible to everyone, regardless of financial resources. Musician members pay dues in order to keep admission free to the public!
