Mission Statement: To protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals in Southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey through spay and neuter programs, rescuing, adoption, and education. General Information: Delaware Valley Second Chance for Animals, Inc. (“DVSC") is a 501(c)3 humane organization located in New Jersey and serving Philadelphia suburbs in PA & NJ. DVSC believes it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless companion animals, and to place them in loving permanent homes. We encourage the public to spay and neuter their companion animals. We promote the adoption of off-the-track thoroughbreds. We work diligently to educate the public on the importance of adopting. Our goals are: 1. To educate the public on the advantages of adopting from rescue groups and shelters. 2. To showcase the talent of off-the-track thoroughbreds and the benefits of adopting one. 3. To foster the belief that all life is valuable, and worthy of protection. 4. To educate the public on all matters concerning animal welfare 5. To promote the spaying and neutering of all pets to help end the epidemic of feline and canine overpopulation.
