DCAC has just been recognized with Regional Training Center status by USA Wrestling. This allows our club to serve USA Wrestling by providing world level coaching, training, and facilities for individuals seeking National and World level goals in the sport of wrestling. At this time we hope to raise $10,000 to provide the athletes and coaches the facilities, support, and opportunities to prepare them for upcoming USA Wrestling and UWW competitions both domestic and international.
DCAC has produced 2 University age level National Champions, Jeric Kasunic in Freestyle and Jason Grimes in Greco-Roman. 18 DCAC athletes have earned All-American status including David Terao with 3 national finalist placements in Freestyle.
Now we have an opportunity to bring multiple time All-American Jon Morrison into DCAC along with continued support of multiple time national and international champion Ganbayar Sanjaa of Mongolia. These athletes can and will help support the efforts of our next generation of champions. We have multiple athletes with age level all-american status and we hope to push them further towards their National Championship and International Championship goals.
