On May 1st the workers at the InterContinental and its restaurant Moon Rabbit filed for a union election. On May 22nd, the hotel announced the closure of Moon Rabbit.
Workers are devastated that the InterContinental has made the drastic decision to close Moon Rabbit. Many of the workers there wanted to spend their careers working at Moon Rabbit and attracting visitors to the Wharf from all over the world. With the restaurant's closure, they have had no or minimal work scheduled since Moon Rabbit closed.

DC Jobs with Justice, a coalition dedicated to protecting the rights of working people and a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization, is organizing this GoFundMe to help the former Moon Rabbit workers. All money collected will go to Moon Rabbit workers.
