The Mission of the Dave Parker39 Foundation is educate the public about Parkinson’s Disease, provide help and information to patients and care givers and help fund research for a cure!
Dave, is a 19 yr. MLB alum, who developed Parkinson’s a few years ago. Our foundation is focused on providing education for folks with Parkinson’s, and especially their caregivers.
As the event coordinator for the Dave Parker39 Foundation , I'm always looking for ways to help expand our reach and increase funds to better fulfill our Mission. When my adult son said to me and a buddy, "You should take the Newport, from Newport to Newport", we knew it was a terrific fund raising idea! With your help we can bring our story to folks throughout the country!
All proceeds are used in fulfillment of our Mission. No officers, directors or others receive a salary or income from funds raised. We have limited administrative costs, such as printing, postage, etc that are incurred in the performance of our Mission, providing education about PD for patients and caregivers. Donate as little or as much as you like and know that 100% of the funds received by the Dave Parker39 Foundation will go to the fight against Parkinson's Disease! This trip will be about 2500 miles and will include stops in Newport PA, Newport DE., Newport News VA. Newport NC, and Newport TE., before returning to newport KY. You can follow us on FB, Twitter and Snap Chat.
