Dare2Draw Supports Human Creators; Join Our New Initiative
Dare2Draw has been bringing creators together for learning, collaboration, and career growth since 2010. Our new initiative, Creator CODE "LIVE" brings working New York comic artists together at our studios in Gowanus, Brooklyn to showcase their work and share their inspirations and techniques with artists around the world.
What does “Creator CODE” Mean?
The code of the Dare2Draw organization is:
“We are all creators, and we support each other period(.)!”
This support is more important than ever at a time when ARTIFICIAL Intelligence becomes more widespread and ingrained in the creative world.
Honoring Will Eisner, The Champion of the Graphic Novel
Creator CODE "LIVE" is currently hosting our first group of artists in honor of Will Eisner Week 2026 (March 1-7).
Eisner Week celebrates the legacy of Brooklyn-born Will Eisner (1917-2005). Eisner Week is an international event dedicated to promoting graphic novels, literacy, free speech, and the sequential arts.
Support Human Creators
Going forward Creator CODE "LIVE" will host ever-changing groups of artists in our tricked out BK studios, drawing supplies, offering broadband, wifi, peripherals, lounge, ….and snacks. By supporting this space and project, you are protecting and funding human artistry.
For years, Dare2Draw has received requests seeking artists for projects and matched artists with those requests. Now as the industry shifts and AI blurs the landscape, Creator CODE "LIVE" will offer new ways of marketing the incredible artists working in our Brooklyn space with the opportunities they deserve.
