The Mobile Learning Lab
Over 6,000 families with children in Dallas ISD lack home Internet access. While long-terms solutions are on the way, we know that students today need support to bridge the gap between today’s needs and tomorrow’s solutions. In partnership with the Santander Consumer USA Foundation, The Meadows Foundation, Cisco, Capital One, Netsync, and Presidio, the DIA and our partners at FlyBusFly and Better Block have converted a retired school bus into a large-scale mobile hotspot, and programming hub! When social distancing subsides, programming will commence onboard the bus, which is converted into a classroom! Early response from the community has showed how important supportive programs and activities are - to expand the number of days we can offer special programming, we need your help!

Our Mobile Learning Lab provides access to the internet, a mobile classroom to support learning and due to COVID-19, online classes, enrichment programs and support services for parents.
