This January, I'm taking on the Big Winter Workout to support Crohn's & Colitis UK, and I need your help!
My husband A was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2010, following months of agony and an emergency admission to hospital. During the admission he was on the verge of needing life changing surgery.
Luckily a last ditch effort at treatment worked and he was discharged from hospital after several weeks.
Since diagnosis he's had to limit what types of food and drink he can have, and takes daily medication as well as having infusions every other month. This leaves him immunocompromised and at risk of further illnesses.
Without research and awareness thanks to Crohn's and Colitis UK these treatments wouldn't be available and life would look very different!
Each day I will be doing 31 minutes of activity (along with baby R) - this is quite a feat for me as I prefer to sit down most of the time
Aside from my usual mum & baby fitness class on a Monday I'll be pushing or carrying R around on walks and if the weather is truly terrible I'll be getting moving at home too!
Your support, whether through donations, encouragement, or sharing my page, means more than you know. Together, we can make a significant difference for the thousands living with Crohn's and Colitis.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
