My name is Sergeant Benjamin Williams, formerly Lance Corporal Williams.

Essentially a GWOT 0331 Marine, now serving a greater purpose than myself as a US Army Soldier after a 14-year break in service.

Times have definitely changed since my Marine Corps days, but the ghost of war still resounds in my head. Everyone’s experience with war and combat is different, and we all deal with it differently.

While I walked away unscathed, other service members like OG did not. To honor him and his legacy and memory, I’m starting my own contribution to his memory and his mother's foundation she established to raise money for progressing treatment of PTS. Pumping our veterans full of pills is not the awnser to fight off the demons.

The mission of the Cpl. Chad Eric Oligschlaeger Foundation for PTSD, Inc. is to make a positive difference in the lives of our troops suffering from the stress, adversity and trauma encountered while serving our country. By raising public awareness for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), our goal is to raise and provide funding for counseling and support groups, to support research into the causes of, and effective treatments for PTSD for our veterans who have returned and are returning from war, to advocate and lobby on behalf of the PTSD community for change in drug protocol in the military, and to maintain a website for access to help resources, articles and educational information about PTSD.
