We are raising funds for Coyotl + Macehualli, an Indigenous-led environmental group in Los Angeles, to support two urgent community-driven projects:

DIY Air Purifiers for Elderly & Disabled Residents

With worsening wildfires, poor air quality is hitting historically marginalized communities the hardest—especially in El Sereno, a redlined, majority low-income immigrant neighborhood. Coyotl + Macehualli is building and distributing Corsi-Rosenthal Box air purifiers, an effective and affordable way to improve indoor air quality. Each purifier costs less than $60 to make, and every donation helps families breathe cleaner air.

Tool Lending Library for Fire Recovery & Stewardship

Many families lost all their tools in the fires, and for undocumented community members, applying for public aid isn’t always an option. To help residents rebuild and restore their livelihoods, this tool library will include:

✅ Safety goggles & garden sprayers for ash cleanup

✅ Gardening & yard tools for community stewardship

✅ An industrial HEPA vacuum to remove harmful particulates
