Even before my family moved to the Kesser Israel community, the Engelson family had a tremendous impact on me. Their steady presence and grace encompassed for me something sturdy and dignified about Kesser Israel and about Judaism itself.
I'd like to memorialize Janett by putting up a Yahrzeit plaque in the sanctuary. It costs $360 to put up the plaque, but every dollar donated beyond that continues her legacy with the shul.
