ComputerCorps Moving Fund
We are a non-profit refurbishing tech and lives. Our volunteers help recycle electronic waste while rebuilding their lives. BUT our building was SOLD! We HAD TO MOVE so we can continue to provide work experiences for the developmentally challenged, purpose for retired golden geeks, training for the underemployed, rehabilitation for those doing community service, and a positive tech experience for the young.
We have fantastic new location on 4630 Highway 50 East next to the Hwy 50 Post Office. So we need donations NOW to build our and settle in!
We need cash donations to recruit volunteers, to build out classroom space, a kitchen and dining room for our volunteers, and our Food Bank Pantry for the community. ComputerCorps is a community asset that serves those on the wrong side of the digital divide so they can improved their own and their family's lives. After 48 hours, our volunteers go home with a free computer system of their own.
