Hello! My name is Clark Baxtresser. I'm raising money for Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, which provides sensitive, high-quality health care and related services to New York's LGBTQ+ communities — in all their diversity — regardless of their ability to pay.

Community health centers like Callen-Lorde tend to serve the people currently being hit hardest by COVID-19. They need funding now more than ever.

In addition to their usual services, Callen-Lorde is also providing clinical care at a temporary shelter for homeless New Yorkers who are diagnosed with COVID-19.  Young LGBTQ+ people are at especially greater risk for unstable housing and homelessness, having to cope with the myriad challenges that come with it.

I know this is a difficult time for everyone, emotionally and financially, so only give if you feel able to do so. Just remember, even the smallest donation can help make an impact. As a New Yorker and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I feel a personal connection to this organization and their mission.
