Commission on Missing & Exploited Children (COMEC)

After a series of highly publicized child abductions, COMEC was formed to address the vital issues relating to missing and exploited children. Recognizing that not all missing children have been abducted or runaway, we provide help for families and caregivers in finding children who are lost due to illicit drug use, truancy, violence and child abuse. By re-connecting children to the value of their faith, family and education we have located hundreds of children. We provide free education, prevention, location and intervention services to all who seek assistance in keeping children out of harm's way.
