Support Columbine Rebels: New Equipment Needed
We are The Columbine High School Rebel Percussion, and we need your help. As our program continues to grow, we find ourselves without the proper equipment to support our students' success. We have broken drum stands, heads that we have stretched beyond their intended lifespans, and drum harnesses that cause more back pain than a teenager should ever endure.
If you are one of the many who have been fortunate enough to experience the world of marching band or winter percussion, then you know first-hand how important quality resources are. Instead of worrying about back pain, our students should be focused on learning rhythmic accuracy, musicality, and having fun!
Any support you are able to provide will go directly to supporting our students. We would like to replace 8 bass drum heads, 2 sets of snare heads, and 2 sets of tenor heads. Our dream is that we might also be able to purchase new bass drum stands and new harnesses for the full drumline. This will put us in a good position with equipment for the next 4+ years and will drastically improve the quality of life for our students.
Contributions of any size are greatly appreciated, and here are some examples of where your gifts will go:
$50 - 1 bass drum or snare head
$100 - 1 set of tenor heads
$250 - 1 bass drum stand
$350 - 1 drum harness
If you are unable to provide financial support, we understand and appreciate you listening to our story. Please pass this page along to whoever you can think of - this is a big goal and the only way to get there is one kind heart at a time.
