Myanmar Queer Earthquake Relief Fund
We, Colors Rainbow, are working for the LGBTQ community in Myanmar.
The powerful earthquake that devastated central Myanmar, with tremors felt over 1,200 kilometers away in Thailand, has caused widespread and massive destruction across Mandalay, Sagaing, Naypyidaw, Shan, and Bago, leaving countless lives in crisis.
Myanmar’s LGBTQ community—already marginalized, vulnerable, and subjected to human rights violations and gender-based violence due to ongoing armed conflicts and the loss of their livelihoods—has been further devastated by the earthquake. Many have seen their homes collapse and are now more isolated than ever, cut off from vital resources. They urgently need food, shelter, medical care, mental health support, and safe relocation.
Since March 28, 2025, Colors Rainbow has been working closely with local queer groups to assess needs and ensure LGBTQ individuals are not excluded from relief efforts. But the need is overwhelming.
We need your help
We are launching the Myanmar Queer Earthquake Relief Fund to provide lifesaving aid to LGBTQ individuals in the hardest-hit areas. Your donation will directly support:
- Emergency food, water, and shelter for displaced individuals
- Critical medical care for the injured
- Local LGBTQ groups providing direct relief
- Safe spaces and access to mental health support
