CNY Veterans Recognition Foundation

Central NY is a strong military veteran-supported community that strongly expressed a desire to resume the CNY Watchfire in 2023 after a three-year absence. As a result, the CNY Veterans Recognition Foundation (CNYVRF) has assumed responsibility for Watchfire management and control, capitalizing on the experience and continuing participation of Vietnam Veterans of America chapter 103 members who previously managed the event. It has been confirmed that CNY’s Watchfire ’24 will occur at NYS Fair’s Brown parking lot on Memorial Day Eve, May 26th!

As with all events, it requires money to operate. We need to meet the cost budget of $15000. Can you join me in making a difference in making Watchfire 2024 a success.?

Our awesome guest bartenders are pulling out all the stops this year!

Mike, Dave, Robbie and Kevin raised $10,080 last year and are determined to beat that number!!

So they asked their beautiful wives to join them in an attempt to surpass that outstanding amount!

These hardworking Moms stepped right up and now we are hosting the match of the century--- husbands vs wives!!!!

You don't want to miss this event of the year!!!

Join us Dec 3rd from 6-9pm as we spend the night raising money for our Veterans in need ♥️♥️

Join us this Sat, Dec 4th as your favorite guest bartenders come together to raise money for our LOCAL Veterans in need!

Rob, Dave, Mike and Kevin will be serving up great drinks and lots of laughs while all your tips go to Operation Christmas Hope to assist our Veterans throughout the holiday!

If you can’t make it please consider a donation here! EVERY SINGLE PENNY goes back out to the local Veterans.

If you would rather donate in person, we will see you at the Skaneateles American Legion on 12/4 from 6-9p. Light meal provided and pub menu available for purchase.

The shuffleboard table will be open!

We will have an outdoor, covered heated area and the upstairs hall for people to socially distance.
