About Cloud Craft Classroom Inc

Cloud Craft Classroom, Inc. fills a gap that currently exists for many students. We provide access to various educational based software programs that would be difficult or impossible for the students to access in their current situation. We intend to provide learning environments for students who attend public schools, private schools, or are home schooled. We seek to connect with any teacher or homeschooling organization that is located in the United States. Our plan is to partner with teachers all over the US so Cloud Craft Classroom can help teachers who have not found a way to use MinecraftEDU or Minecraft software with their students. The virtual computer lab will be set up with classroom sets of computers once we have enough money to buy the hardware and the software licenses. One of our teachers is National Board Certified and has teaching credentials in 23 states. She wants to host classes in the virtual computer lab during times when school is not in session. These sessions will be in a virtual environment and will require students to have some access to the internet. Ideally they could even come to class from a public library computer. In addition to role playing games in a Minecraft environment, we want to load game making software and compilers so that students can learn how to code in simple programming languages like Python or Lua. When we get the virtual computer lab running with all the proper protocols for student safety, as long as there is money to load software, we want to be so busy we may even have to hire someone to help with the classes. Until that time, however, our teacher is happy volunteering to hold classes with students for free. Ultimately we want to expand at least in the SF Bay Area to have what we are calling Chromebook Crates for teachers to check out. The Chromebook Crate will have a class set of Chromebook computers loaded with our software so they can then dial in to our server to use MinecraftEDU, Minecraft, or whatever software we have expanded to use at that time. The crate will include a hotspot so the machines can go online to dial into our virtual servers. Our goal is to raise enough money so that we can build our dream virtual computer lab, have Chromebook Crates for local schools in the East Bay area of the San Francisco Bay, and not have to charge any teacher any money to use our services. Once we get the Chromebook Crate idea fully figured out, we want to branch out to any location in the US where there is someone who will take responsibility for managing the use of the Chromebook Crates and their maintenance. Ideally we would be able to provide a temporary computer lab for any teacher to use for a short period of time, like one or two weeks, so they can complete a curricular unit using software in a virtual world.
