Helping Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA): Storm Recovery
Hi, my name is Jason Poulos, and I have been a volunteer at Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) for the past three years. On September 26, 2024, severe storms caused widespread flooding and damages to the Clearwater Beach community. CMA suffered $2.5 million in damages, including the loss of vital medical equipment, destruction of the animal hospital, and damage to the manatee rehabilitation center.

100% of the funds raised will be donated directly to CMA to replace medical equipment, repair the animal hospital, and restore critical rehabilitation facilities.

As someone who works directly with CMA and has witnessed the impact of this disaster, I am dedicated to ensuring all donations go toward recovery efforts. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out."

This business has been helping animals for a long time, and due to Hurricane Helene and Milton, their facility has been flooded. Some of the enclosures have even become angle deep. All of the money will go to help this cause and help them get back to saving animals.

Abigail's birthday - CMA
Abigail has always loved animals, but when she saw the movie Dolphin Tale a few years ago she realized that she wants to be a marine biologist. We traveled to Clearwater for spring break 2017 where Abigail was able to train a dolphin (Hope), an otter (Cooper), and a pelican (Ricky). She fell in love with the aquarium and has been researching colleges with marine biology programs ever since. For her birthday this year Abigail has requested a CMA-themed party to raise money for the aquarium and its Rescue-Rehabilitate-Release program.

Join me in making a difference for marine life! The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is famous for its incredible work rescuing and rehabilitating marine animals, including Winter the Dolphin, whose inspiring story touched hearts worldwide. Winter’s legacy lives on as a symbol of hope and resilience, but keeping her story alive and continuing this important mission takes significant resources.

Right now, the Aquarium is facing financial challenges that threaten their ability to provide care for rescued animals, maintain state-of-the-art facilities, and educate future generations about marine conservation.

During my live stream, I’ll be cleaning up trash along the Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches to raise awareness about the impact of pollution on marine ecosystems. Every dollar donated will go directly to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to support their rescue efforts, ensure the well-being of their animal residents, and preserve Winter’s legacy for years to come.
