Running 50 States for City Youth Now
Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for City Youth Now by running a marathon in all 50 states.
City Youth Now has played an instrumental part in the work that I do with youth in the foster and probation system on an everyday basis. They provide these youth with paid internships, life skills classes, and are able to help their families out with any issues that arise in their everyday lives.
Through my work with the San Francisco Probation Department, I’ve been inspired to continue working with these youth, as well as transitional age youth (18-27) to ensure that we can provide them with the tools that they need to be successful in society.
In order to raise awareness and funding for this fantastic non-profit, I’ve decided to run a marathon or more in every state in the U.S., hopefully in a three year period. Big shout out to my friend Allen Chen and his amazing company Fitbod, for not only sponsoring me with all of my races but helping me get into shape for this journey.
I’ve knocked out four and will continue to update below regarding new races that I have planned or results.
