Boise Guru has teamed up with the Mescher Team to help raise money for one of our favorite local non-profit organizations, City of Good. City of Good is a Boise non-profit that unites local restaurants and growers to address the lack of food access among school aged children.

City of Good is known for their weekend fuel kits. These fuel kits are boxes of 6 nutritious, ready to eat meals made by Boise restaurants using at least 30% locally sourced ingredients. The kits are assembled and then delivered to schools every Friday to those children in need. Each of these fuel kits cost only $20 to produce, so for every $100 donated, that feeds 5 children on the weekend! These meals also help keep restaurant workers employed and put money in the hands of local farmers and food producers.

This year our goal is to raise $3,000 beginning August 2nd and going through August 6th. We would like to invite you to join our challenge, and for every donation of $20 or more we will be sending you the 2021 Boise Guru t-shirt!!
