City Center Transitional Living Inc

The City Center provides local homeless families with a safe shelter for two years where they receive counseling, mentoring, case management, financial coaching & employment assistance. They learn life skills necessary for self-sufficiency, acquire transportation, obtain employment and no longer require government assistance. In the last 7 years they have removed over 300 people from homelessness!

5,964 students were identified as homeless in Ventura County in 2019/2020 Ventura County Office of Education data; Children under 5 yrs old are more than 6% of the county's population, one of the highest in the state.

95% success rate for empowering homeless families to become self-sufficient!

THE PROBLEM -  Historically, 53% of our income goes toward rent. We want to own our building so we can help more homeless children and families. The cost is $3.95M, and we need your help to complete the purchase and own our home!
