About Citizens Union Foundation Inc

Citizens Union Foundation (CUF) is a 501(c)3 organization that acts as the programmatic, research, and education arm of Citizens Union (a 501(c)4 organization) that focuses on engaging New Yorkers to enact positive democratic change. Our public education efforts have intensified through innovative public forums such as our Civic Conversation series. In pursuit of its mission, CUF: • Monitors the deliberations and actions of city and state government, • Conducts research on issues of reform, • Analyzes proposed public policies and legislation at the city and state level, • And holds civic conversations to educate and engage the public in civic issues of citywide importance.
