Hey guys, my name Angela from Lord Puffer Cigars and for my birthday coming up I wanted to ask for you for a HUGE favor which is to support me in supporting a foundation that I am extremely passionate about. For many years, I have fundraised money for Haitian children and families as they are very dear to me. Many of you may know that I use to live in the Bahamas for three years farming tobacco and during my time there, since most of our employees were Haitian immigrants I saw all the obstacles they would go through just to be able to put a small meal on the table. These people truly became like family to me.
The Cigar Family Charitable Foundation founded by Fuente and Newman family uses our love for cigars to generate funding for children and family in poverish regions in the DR. Myself and like many of you guys have been truly blessed to have access to medical, housing, and most importantly an education. Carlito once said, "these kids are just like kids born in the united states. they are young they are naive. They don't know that life has dealt them a tough hand. For generations, they have been ignored by the government, ignored by the community, ignored by society." Since inception, they have built a preschool, elementary school, high school, sports facility, a medical and dentistry center, they provide clean water and balanced meals! These are normal things that we have access to and take for granted every single day
I know it is a lot but this year for my birthday I want to make it a goal to fundraise $10,000 for this awesome foundation. No matter how big or how small your contributions are, I want to say I greatly greatly appreciate you helping me help this foundation that I am so passionate about. Just a little disclaimer, absolutely 100% of all the proceeds will go towards the foundation. So for my birthday, please help me help these children of the Dominican Republic and give them a chance at life. Thanks everyone, love you and happy 2018!
