About Scholars Run Conservancy Inc
Our environmental goals are in two areas. Yard waste composting is the first, and will not only include the residents of the original partners of Cranberry Township and Zelienople and Harmony Boroughs, but other municipalities in southwestern Butler County, at a minimum. Our second goal is to create environmental education programming around the natural amenities of the 30 acre parcel on which the yard waste composting facility is located, to include water testing, organic gardening, water purification, tree and shrub identification, and wildlife observation.
