Our Mission

 

Rosendale & Esopus 4 Refugees is a grassroots, volunteer church, and nonprofit group working with various agencies to resettle those in need to our New York State, Hudson Valley community. We are in need of your help!

Welcoming, providing hospitality and resettling Afghan refugee families in the United States requires time, housing, food, clothing, transport, translations services, and financial support. The International Office of Migration and the U.S. Federal government strongly recommends that resettlement groups raise between $30,000 and $35,000 to help support each family that is being resettled and stand by them for a year until they are independently established. New Paltz 4 Refugees also recommends this guideline. So we are turning to you, our families, our friends, our neighbors, to band together and help us reach the goal to support two new Afghan families in Rosendale and Esopus. 100% of your donations will go directly to help with the costs of rent, utilities, transportation, clothing, food and everything else a newly arrived family needs. We can only do it with your help so, please donate now!
