Hi friends and family,
This summer, I’m taking on one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world — the Leadville 100, a 100-mile ultramarathon across the Colorado Rockies. But I’m not just running for the finish line — I’m running to support something much bigger.
I’ve joined Team CKF to raise money for the Chris Klug Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting organ and tissue donation and improving the lives of transplant recipients and their families. Inspired by Olympic snowboarder and liver transplant recipient Chris Klug, CKF spreads education and hope through youth outreach, donor registration events, and patient advocacy.
Why This Matters to Me
The Leadville 100 is brutal — high elevation, steep climbs, and 30+ hours of nonstop effort. But it’s nothing compared to what transplant patients and their families go through. I want every mile to make a difference. Supporting CKF means supporting second chances at life.
How You Can Help
I’ve committed to raising $2600 by June 21 to secure my spot on Team CKF and fund their life-saving work. Every dollar helps — whether it’s $5 or $100 — and your donation goes directly to the Chris Klug Foundation. All donations are tax deductible.
If you’ve ever considered becoming an organ donor, or want to support someone running through hell with a purpose — this is your chance to join the journey.
Donate today and help me make every step count.
Thank you so much for your support — I’ll see you at the finish line.
With gratitude,
Jesse Thomas
