We were asked to take Chiffon, RC Cola, Pumpkin, Asia, and Kodiak in to our rescue family. As they settle in, we will update you on each ones personalities. What we do know is they will all need to be spayed or neutered, heartworm, tested, updated on shots, dewormed, microchipped, several have skin and eye issues. Welcome to the Bring Chelsea Home Rescue Squad Pawty Fundraiser!

Chelsea is a pup that was found in a dog meat market in Korea. The people who found Chelsea needed a rescue to commit to taking her and cover all expenses until she found her furever home. That's a lot to ask, but Chow Chow Rescue of Central New York (CCRCNY) absolutely could not let her suffer a horrific fate and agreed to bring Chelsea to the US to find her furever home!

Chelsea’s travel was delayed due to COVID-19 so she’s been boarding in South Korea. She is finally scheduled to fly to the US on June 8! Because of this delay, CCRCNY had to cover almost $5000 in unexpected expenses. This is in addition to all of the vetting that was required to get her to the states. The funds raised will also go to her flight costs. Once in the US, Chelsea will have a complete vet checkup as well as checking out a limp which she currently has. Then she will be ready for her furever home!

All donations to this GoFundMe will go directly to Chelsea's costs. Should we exceed the amount that Chelsea needs, the remaining funds will go to helping other Chow Chows in need at the rescue.

Chow Chow Rescue of Central New York is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 rescue group started in 2001. This rescue was formed out of love for this unique breed and is dedicated to finding forever homes for mixed and pure-breed Chows.
