Hey everyone! Mik and I are heading to Burlington on Memorial Day Weekend to run the Vermont City Marathon. This will be our first marathon together and we wanted to add some extra motivation to our race. We would love to make these 26.2 miles count, and we think that the best way to do that would be to know that we are doing it for a good cause. The first charity we thought of was Boston’s Children’s because of the incredible work they have done and continue to do daily. We’ve both had friends that have praised the level of care their families have received at Boston Children’s and its a cause that we want to do our part in supporting. Hi! My name is Arjun and I’m 11 years old. I’m raising money for the Boston Children’s Hospital Allergy Center because of my little brother, Vir.

He's 9 and has lots of food allergies. Every day he has to be super careful about what he eats. He always has to carry an EpiPen in case he has a reaction, which can be really scary.

But this fundraiser isn’t for my brother alone. It’s for all kids who have food allergies. There are millions of kids like him. Their families worry about school lunches, birthday parties, sports, and just eating safely every day.

Here's what I’m doing:

I’m organizing a 'Kick 4 Cause' on Saturday, September 6th at Clark Playground in Brookline to raise money. Calendar link here. The money will help the Allergy Center at BCH with:

Research: so doctors can find better treatments for allergies

Awareness: so kids with allergies feel safe and included

Supples: like EpiPens and resources for families who need them

How you can help me:
