Giving Tuesday for CIC Kids
Imagine, too, our children’s surprise when once again their world changed dramatically just a few short weeks ago. Instead of seeing their family for in-person visits, those moments now take place over an app. Instead of learning in a classroom of their peers led by highly qualified teachers, the classroom is now in front of a computer screen. Instead of enjoying fun and educational outings in our community, our staff are getting very creative at home where we have all kinds of adventures at home and in the backyard. Yet, even with this new temporary normal, there is joy. There are extra smiles and laughter around the dining room table and silly games in the living room as our kids find new ways to come together. Most of all, the strength of our staff, our children, and our entire community is a true testament to just how strong we are when we band together to get through any crisis.
