About Chief Seattle Club

Chief Seattle Club's mission statement is to provide sacred spaces to nurture, affirm, and renew the spirit of Urban Native Peoples. Founded in 1970, the Club lifts up homeless/low-income Native Americans in Seattle, Washington. Seven days a week, 364 days a year, 100~ members come to the Club for basic needs such as hot meals, showers and laundry services. We gain their trust and act as a gateway to a broad range of coordinated social services, including health care; mental health; housing assistance; re-entry; domestic violence/sexual assault services; legal aid; access to benefits; substance abuse intake and referrals; cultural, art, and spiritual activities. We partner with non-profits, tribes, and government to leverage coordinated on-site services to our members.
