I work with Chicagoland Dog Rescue and we have several special needs dogs. 3 partially blind puppies, another with a fractured dislocated hip and another with mange are just some of the dogs we help.

At Chicagoland Dog Rescue, our mission is simple: to rescue, socialize, and find permanent homes for homeless dogs—regardless of their breed, size, or age. Based in Schaumburg, we are a dedicated, volunteer-driven, shelter-less rescue that partners with shelters in Alabama, Oklahoma and Illinois to bring dogs in need to safety.
Our passion lies in saving those who need us most- which includes dogs with substantial medical needs. These dogs require extensive care to regain their health and start a new chapter in loving homes.
But we can't do it alone. Like most rescues this year has been a struggle. Costs have substantially increased for food and medical care and donations are down.
While our adoption fees help offset these costs, they rarely come close to covering the cost of just the basic care our dogs need. We rely on donations to cover the costs of veterinary care, food, and other supplies.
Please donate today. Your contribution, big or small, will help us give these deserving dogs, especially those with the greatest needs, a second chance at life. Together, we can create more happy endings and fewer homeless dogs needing rescue.
