About Chicago International Social Change Film Festival

Social Change is an organization devoted to liberation and disrupting systems via the radical transformation of turning protest into progress. This is accomplished by leveraging coalitions of organizers, lawyers, legislators, and artists work together to improve the social reality of communities of color, to support and defend impoverished and divested households, and to uplift transformational institutions through strategic partnerships. To date, Social Change has proposed over 40 system reforms, passed 7 bills into law that will help millions of people, trained over 50 individuals and organizations, sponsored multiple art exhibits and 10 Social Change Film Festivals to educate and inspire action, served over 2,000 people via outings to feed the homeless and multi-city clothing drives.
