Chef Hui

Chef Hui is mobilizing our network of chefs, cooks, volunteers and food community supporters for long-term flood relief across Oahu and Maui as needed.

Our focus is sustained, skilled, community-rooted support — the kind that shows up after the immediate response fades. For now, we are working closely with community partners and following their lead.

In the coming days and weeks, we will continue following their lead while preparing to turn any surplus local ingredients and donated produce into frozen soups and meals stored at partner commissary kitchens for ongoing distribution, cooking alongside community members at relief hubs when families need more than logistics. We will continue to do our best to connect affected farmers to kitchen capacity so nothing goes to waste and our farmers are supported.
