Yahrtzeit board
For my Bat Mitzvah project I am raising money for a yahrzeit board, for our synagogue, The Charlotte Torah Center. A yahrzeit board is a widely observed Jewish tradition to commemorate the passing of a relative or loved one on the walls within a shul. A yahrzeit is an anniversary of someones death. We celebrate these because this is the day that our loved one has completed the task that Hashem sent him/her to earth for. Please help me raise money so that the members of our community can commemorate their loved one in such a special way.
