Charleston Promise Neighborhood (CPN) Celebrates Ten Years of Impact!
CPN was founded in 2010 through a unique partnership with Charleston County, the cities of Charleston and North Charleston, and Charleston County School District (CCSD). The partnership was intentionally focused on providing resources to support an under-resourced area of the community called “The Neck.” “The Neck,” which straddles portions of Charleston and North Charleston, is one of the most impoverished yet high-potential areas in the state of South Carolina.
CPN's mission is to provide and facilitate comprehensive programs and services that support children, strengthen families, and mobilize residents to action.
