Support Charity Crossing-DELCO Food Bank in Delaware County
Charity Crossing has been a lifeline for hundreds of people in need in Philadelphia Suburbs, Aston, Media, and Delaware County. However, we face a heartbreaking problem: we may have to close our doors after March 2025.
Founded in 2015 by Jay Muthukamatchi in his basement, Charity Crossing has blossomed into a leading volunteer-run nonprofit organization, transforming lives and communities across Delaware, Pennsylvania, and beyond. For years, we’ve been a source of hope, compassion, and relief for countless families by providing goods to lower-earning families.
Charity Crossing fosters a sense of peace, pride, and purpose within its volunteers. By making a tangible difference in the lives of others, volunteers deepen their connection to the community, cultivating self-awareness, self-esteem, empathy, generosity, and gratitude.
Without immediate support, we can’t continue this mission. Every week, Charity Crossing works tirelessly to serve our communities, operating on an average budget of $1,600 (about $85,000 annually). Unfortunately, we have reached a financial breaking point with our operating expenses, which are currently running out by April 2025. Because of this, we won't be able to continue serving the community any longer without the funds.
Imagine the impact if we’re no longer here—the children without warm clothes, the families left without food, and the individuals who will lose the support they’ve come to rely on.
We need your help to ensure that doesn’t happen. Every dollar you give keeps Charity Crossing alive and allows us to continue serving those who need us most. Together, we can save this organization and protect the hope it brings to so many.
Please donate and help us continue spreading kindness, one life at a time.
