Charity Checks the nonprofit, introduced giving "the joy of giving" to someone else, and continues to work creatively to increase charitable giving and to improve "charitable literacy" from the grassroots level to the corporate boardroom. The nonprofit was founded by a husband -wife team who invented America's universal Giving Certificates, a unique tool for philanthropy that can benefit any 501c(3) charity-- as gifts and employee benefits to give "The Joy of Giving," and in schools to "Teach the Joy of Giving" and introduce students to America's vital nonprofit sector. Charity Checks does not endorse any single charity, but encourages people to contribute thoughtfully to the causes they care about and share in "making a difference."
